Synopsis (Source: Wikipedia)

Earl decides to make up for having made fun of a French exchange student named Pierre by bringing him back to America in the hope of reuniting Pierre with his childhood crush. Meanwhile, Randy and Catalina try to adjust to life as a married couple.

THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE – As a young kid, Earl (Jason Lee) tortured a French foreign exchange student, Pierre (guest star Ernie Grunwald), and scared him back to France. In order to scratch number forty-four off his list, Earl decides to fly Pierre back to America and show him all the great things the country has to offer. Meanwhile, things heat up between Randy (Ethan Suplee) and Catalina (Nadine Velazquez) and their marriage is redefined – but not in the way anyone would have ever guessed. Everyone learns more about the power of love and the mysterious ways in which it works. Jaime Pressly and Eddie Steeples also star.

Trivia

• Joy tells Catalina twice "Don't you judge me!" This was said by her mom (Played by Brett Butler) several times in the episode White Lie Christmas.
• When Pierre headbutts Earl, it is a reference to Zinedine Zidane's famous headbutt in World Cup 2006.
• When listing great things about the US, Darnell (Crab Man) lists several varieties of marijuana.
• "Screw the cheerleader, destroy the world" is visible on the chalkboard in the flashback scene with the French exchange student doing well with American girls. This parodies advertisements for the NBC show Heroes, which stated "save the cheerleader, save the world".
